Third Thursday Journey Group
About the Circle
This journey circle is a sacred, ongoing space for deep listening, healing, and connection with helping spirits through shamanic journeying. The circle was originally founded and lovingly held by Matthew Tenzin, and I am honored to carry it forward with gratitude for the roots and integrity already established.
This group is intended for people who already have experience with shamanic journeying and are looking to deepen their practice in community.
What to Expect
Each gathering offers a grounded and supportive container and may include:
- Clear intention-setting
- Shamanic journeying with drumming or rattling
- Time for reflection and integration
- Optional, respectful sharing
Personal boundaries and the unique path of each participant are always honored.
For Those Newer to Journeying
This circle is not designed as an introductory class. If you have not been formally trained or are newer to journeying, the following resources are recommended:
- ShamanicTeachers.com – listings for in-person and online journeying classes offered by trained teachers

2026 Year in Ritual
A Year of Coming Home to Yourself
2026 is a year of coming home to yourself through ritual.
Each moon cycle gives us a chance to pause, breathe, heal, and realign. Together we co-create ceremony — calling in support, tending our inner landscapes, and strengthening our connection to Spirit.
These new and full moon rituals are powerful and deeply nurturing.
They offer structure, guidance, and spaciousness for transformation as we walk your path with intention, community, and Spirit at our side.
Join a single ritual or move through the entire year with me.
2026 Moon Ritual Calendar
January – Wolf Moon
Full Moon — January 3 (6–8 PM)
- Community, intuition, soul-pack medicine
- Ancestral guidance and Inner knowing
New Moon — January 18 (6–8 PM)
- Dreaming a new path
- Silencing, listening, and intuitive tracking
Notes / significant sky events this month:
- Jupiter is retrograde (ongoing from late 2025 into March 2026) — a reflective/inner-work tone on expansion, learning, beliefs; helpful for inward recalibration work.
February — Snow Moon
Full Moon — February 1 (6–8 PM)
- Releasing heaviness
- clearing the heart for renewal
New Moon — February 17 (6–8 PM)
- Purification
- Internal alignment and cleansing
Notes / significant sky events this month:
- Annular (Ring-of-Fire) Solar Eclipse on Feb 17, 2026 — this eclipse occurs on the New Moon day (Feb 17). The annular path is not visible from Colorado (visible over parts of Antarctica, southern Africa, South America), but eclipses carry strong threshold/initiatory energy globally — excellent for radical clearing & planting new cycles.
- Jupiter retrograde is still active (see Jan note) — extra reflective depth during eclipse/new-moon work.
March — Worm (Crow) Moon
Full Moon — March 3 (6–8 PM)
- Shedding winter identities
- Early spring rebirth
New Moon — March 18 (6–8 PM)
- Stirring, awakening
- Thawing frozen energy
Notes / significant sky events this month:
- Total Lunar Eclipse on Mar 3, 2026 (a “Blood Moon”) — occurs at the Full Moon and is visible from North America (so likely visible from Colorado, weather permitting). Very potent for deep release, shadow work, ancestral healing and rebirth rituals.
- Mercury / Jupiter / outer-planet context: Jupiter comes out of its major retrograde window in early March (reflective energy easing as Jupiter stations direct), and Mercury’s spring retrograde window begins later in the year — keep plans flexible for communications around this month.
April — Pink Moon
Full Mo— April 1 (6–8 PM)
- Heart opening
- Healing the inner child
New Moon — April 17 (6–8 PM)
- Emergence
- Vulnerability & opening to new beginnings
Notes / significant sky events this month:
- Quiet month for major eclipses — good for gentle healing, inner-child work and planting relational intentions. (Jupiter now moving direct through early March — its reflective tone is easing.)
May — Flower Moon
Full Moon — May 1 (6–8 PM)
- Abundance
- Earth ally connection
New Moon — May 16 (6–8 PM)
- Fertility of ideas
- creativity and expanding your medicine
Full Moon — May 31 (7–9 PM)
- Manifestation
- Stepping into fullness and embodiment
Notes / significant sky events this month:
- Blue Moon — there is an extra Full Moon in May: May 31, 2026 — Sunday (Full Moon occurs 01:45 MST). This “Blue Moon” can be used as an intensification of May themes (extra manifestation/abundance work).
June — Strawberry Moon
New Moon — June 14 (7–9 PM)
- Gratitude
- Receiving and savoring sweetness stop
Full Moon — June 29 (7–9 PM)
- Pleasure
- Celebrating early harvest
Notes / significant sky events this month:
- Mercury Retrograde #2 begins late June (stationing Rx around Jun 29, 2026) — expect some communication/tech/transport review themes that could influence planning around the New/Full window. Good month for reception/gratitude, but double-check logistics if you run workshops.
July — Buck Moon
New Moon — July 14 (7–9 PM)
- Strength
- Boundaries and direction
Full Moon — July 29 (7–9 PM)
- Sovereignty
- Leadership and claiming your medicine
Notes / significant sky events this month:
- Saturn enters its pre-retrograde zone in April and then stations retrograde July 26, 2026 — Saturn Rx (July 26–Dec 10) brings review around structure, boundaries and long-term commitments; very relevant to “strengthening power & sovereignty” work.
August — Sturgeon Moon
New Moon — August 12 (7–9 PM)
- Depth
- Strategy and long-term visions
Full Moon — August 27 (7–9 PM)
- Deep journeying
- Ancestral healing and reclaiming lost pieces
Notes / significant sky events this month:
- Total Solar Eclipse on Aug 12, 2026 (this is a major total solar eclipse; path of totality is over parts of the Arctic, Greenland, Iceland, N. Europe) — it falls on the New Moon day. Not visible from Colorado, but energetically potent worldwide — excellent for initiation/collective-scale healing work.
- Partial Lunar Eclipse on Aug 27, 2026 (at the Full Moon) — visible in North America; very useful for deep inner journeying and ancestral healing. Plan for strong release/insight energies around this Full Moon.
September — Harvest Moon
New Moon — September 10 (7–9 PM)
- Reflection
- Preparing for equilibrium
Full Moon — September 26 (6–8 PM)
- Gratitude
- Harvesting your work and completion
Notes / significant sky events this month:
- Post-eclipse integration — good month for harvesting insights from summer initiations; Saturn Rx continues to encourage restructuring where needed.
October — Hunter’s Moon
New Moon — October 10 (6–8 PM)
- Shadow work
- Pattern clearing and protection
Full Moon — October 25 (6–8 PM)
- Spirit communication
- Ancestral connection and veils thinning
Notes / significant sky events this month:
- Mercury Retrograde #3 begins Oct 24–Nov 13, 2026 (so Mercury Rx starts the day before this New/Full window) — expect communication/tech review and rework energies. Also Venus will station retrograde in early Oct and continue through Nov (Venus Rx Oct 3–Nov 13), so relationship/values themes are strong for October–November. These cycles can deepen shadow-work or bring old relational material to surface—use with clear boundaries and container.
November — Beaver Moon
New Moon — November 9 (6–8 PM)
- Preparation
- Resourcing and stability
Full Moon — November 24 (6–8 PM)
- Releasing drains
- Strengthening foundations
Notes / significant sky events this month:
- Venus Rx continues through Nov 13 — strong period for reviewing values, relationships, income streams; good for grounding and practical planning rituals.
December — Cold Moon
New Moon — December 8 (6–8 PM)
- Rest
- Returning to the Void and the Self what
Full Moon – December 23 (6-8 PM)
- Illumination
- Clarity and sacred closure of the year
Notes / significant sky events this month:
- Saturn stations direct Dec 10, 2026 (ending its retrograde) — this eases Saturn-review energy and helps consolidate structural work done since summer.
